This just in: Howard Dean is still a political tool

Howard Dean drug himself out from under whatever rock he's been hiding under today to make an appearance on Face the Nation. Bob Scheiffer asked if the President should burden any of the blame for the U.S.'s downgrade by S&P?

"I think this is a tea-party problem," Dean said. "I think they are totally unreasonable and doctrinaire and not founded in reality. I think they've been smoking some of that tea, not just drinking it."

Yes, totally unreasonable and delusional to boot. Listen, Washington does NOT have a revenue problem. It is a SPENDING problem. Now I will qualify my revenue statement by saying that we do have a revenue problem. Revenues have decreased recently, but that due to the fact that there are fewer people working and thus giving a smaller the tax base. Further, the tax code is almost 60,000 pages long and virtually incomprehensible. So Dean's answer is to increase taxes on the only people producing in this country so he can transfer that wealth to those that aren't. You know Detroit did that. How'd it work out for them?

God bless the Tea Party for is doing exactly what they said they would do.
