Breaking: Chief Justice Roberts Organizes Prayer Vigil for the Constitution

The New York Times reported last week that the White House Works to Shape Debate Over Health Law. Tucked into this article I found this:

On Wednesday, White House officials summoned dozens of leaders of nonprofit organizations that strongly back the health law to help them coordinate plans for a drum circle prayer vigil, press conferences and other events outside the court when justices hear arguments for three days beginning March 26.

Really! I mean just - Really? But wait, it gets better:

[The White House] said a main purpose of this week's meeting, in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building adjacent to the White House, was to give the various groups a chance to learn of the plans.

Um, you mean the Administration is getting folks to come and pray for the Supreme Court to uphold the Obamacare law and they don't even know what's in it! Kinda reminds me of Pelosi telling her colleagues to pass the Obamacare bill so that they can find out what's in it.

The bigger point here is that we have three branches of government each created to 'check and balance' the other. But doesn't this look like the Executive branch is trying to influence the Judicial. I mean, Obama has already humiliated the Supreme Court in public so he has no problem calling them out.

Secondarily, could one consider this a protest? When was the last time a sitting president organized a protest? Good lord the depths of degeneracy these people will go to win is truly appalling.

Exit Question: What if Chief Justice decided to organize a vigil in front of the White House to pray for the Constitution. Would that be okey dokey? I'm thinking not.
