Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius had this to say to a House panel Thursday:
"The reduction in the number of pregnancies compensates for the cost of contraception," Sebelius said. She went on to say the estimated cost is "down not up."
Let's leave the fact that this administration feels comfortable directing the practices of private organizations and of their shredding of the first amendment for another blog. In this blog I just want to point out the absurdity of her statement.
So let me get this straight. Sebelius is saying that by mandating that insurance companies have to provide contraceptives for free, their cost will actually decrease. God I love liberal math! Not sure where Kathleen got her business degree but at Carolina I was taught differently.
As the current administration has repeatedly said, the EVIL insurance companies are only in the health care game to make huge profits right? Well if what Sebelius said is true, why are the insurance companies NOT handing out contraceptives for free?
These people will say anything regardless of the truth.
The single synapse inhabiting the cranium of Ms. Syllabus is crying out for help, starving from lack of intellectual food and dying from loneliness.

Perhaps she should join ranks with the hyper-radical-environmental-eco-freaks in their drive to wipe the human race from off of the planet. It'll both save Mother Gaia and ultimately eliminate health care costs altogether.
